Everyone jumps right to Disney World when they think of Orlando Florida. Interestingly enough, Disney World is actually a good 20 miles outside downtown Orlando. While this might pose problems for the unprepared, it is actually an opportunity for those seeking to visit Orlando and see some things off the beaten path. Downtown Orlando actually has a number of unique activities. For adventurous adults there are bars, clubs, restaurants, theaters, and concert venues all in a small area. If gardens are not your thing, and spending time chasing fine food and good drinks does not appeal either, you might want to consider several of the fine museums in the area. If you love Tiffany glass and other crafted pieces from that era the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art (3 dollar adult fees, lowered for students and those under 12) has the biggest collection in the world. There are other exhibits here too and the building itself is a must see structure dating back to 1893. other museums include the Orlando Museum of Art, the Orlando Science Center, the Orange Country Regional History Center, and the International Trolley and Train Museum. Depending on day and time prices range from free to 12 dollars.

Orlando Odditorium. While they do not actually have such a thing they do have sixteen different galleries of oddities to explore and interact with. Likely the most interesting “museum” you will ever encounter. Orlando Florida has a lot more then just theme parks. Your next visit should be off the beaten path and you really do not have to wander far to find a whole new world.

There are many attractions you might want to add to your itinerary if you are planning a trip to Orlando. There is so much more than Walt Disney World. These things include costumes worn by some of the actors and more props from the movies. If you are interested in the history of the Titanic or if you are a movie buff you will enjoy this amazing exhibit.
SeaWorld Orlando is one of Orlando’s very first theme parks. This park includes over 200 acres of adventure including attractions and animal shows. There are many rides for children and adults to enjoy which include a laser-firework-water-extravaganza and technological thrilling rides. You don’t have to have a Green Card to enjoy this amazing park. SeaWorld Orlando is one of the most favored attractions in the nation and you will enjoy it too.
WonderWorks is an amazing museum in Orlando which will show you some amazing things science can do. This attraction is very amusing with the quirky scientific exhibits like the Bridge of Fire walk through, the Mystery Lab where you can see water flowing upward, and the power simulation of over 250,000 watts of electricity. There is also an earthquake simulation you can experience and you can fight the force of gravity. There is nothing like this neat little adventure your entire family will find interesting and fun. It is a great break for the day and you won’t need your aromatherapy diffusers when you get back to the hotel because it is not stressful.
Bill’s Airboat adventures is another amazing attraction you don’t need permission from USCIS to visit. You can enjoy an amazing 90 minute tour through the backwaters and marshland to see alligators, bald eagles, and more. When you see Orlando in all aspects of Florida you will have a new view of the Florida. This attraction was created by a U.S. Coast Guard seaman named Captain Bill Daniel.
There are many attractions in Orlando you might consider heading to if you are taking a trip to Florida. There are so many things to do you cannot do them all. However, a few really fun trips you might want to think about spending your days at include WonderWorks, Bill’s Airboat Adventures, SeaWorld Orlando, and The Titanic, Ship of Dreams Exhibit. Orlando doesn’t only have the world renowned Walt Disney World. If you carefully plan your trip you will be able to enjoy a few of these places. These are only a small handful of the abundance of attractions located in Orlando.
